August 8 Osaka, Japan ….

Here we come Japan….going to cover a bit of mainland Japan in Honshu Island (osaka, kyoto, nara, hiroshima, tokyo) this time!

We had a memorable to Osaka as Aadya played with Japenese kids sitting behind us in the flight 😊. Today was a fantastic Osaka walking n local metro ride with a Japenese tourist guide…he took us around the city … Osaka Museum of Housing and Living, where Aadya Sharma Madhu played with traditional Japenese toys, Kimono Japenese dress clicks, depiction of Japenese festivals with symbolic Japenese dolls, commercial strip Janjan yokocho, Kuromon ichiba market, matcha ice cream, Henn na Hotel the dinosaurs robot at the reception (as Japan is famous in robots, humanoids etc 😃 going to explore more of it in Tokyo in national museum of emerging science…) and now Sake japenese (wine) with Japenese curry🎉🎉

Today we travelled in shinkansen “bullet train” from Osaka station to Hiroshima named sakura ….listened to interesting stories told by our Japenese tourist guide named Takuya 😊….very exposed guy who had fluency in English n very familiar with Indian culture….we were surprised to know about his tremendous knowledge of India ….he has been foreign student in states for 5years as well…

Finally reached Hiroshima a very lively city but with sad past! We saw the place where nuclear bomb was first dropped adjoining hospital, Tram 651 original atomic bomb survivor tram, Atomic bomb dome UNESCO funded, memorial Cemetary near buddist temple, Children of the atomic bomb dome, Met atomic bomb survivors, Bento set takeaway culture, carp katsu japenese snack, famous Hiroshima Toya Carp baseball, peace memorial park n museum …symbolic paintings depicting war aftermaths, wrote few lines about people who passed away during the bombing in museum register and had a good tram ride back to Hisroshima shinkansen!!😊

Finally met fluent Japenese speaking Indians who opened restaurants in Osaka and Hiroshima!

Purchased some traditional Japenese sweets momiji manju snack, Namagashi etc

Today staying in traditional style Roykan(Japenese hotel) accross dotonbori river in Osaka…sleeping on floor n eating in traditional way …similar to traditional Indian culture 😊!!!
